Описание: For the fourth time in a row, KANU party has postponed its much awaited Special National Delegates Conference which was scheduled to take place this Friday. It has also emerged that the party is having problems complying with the political parties act, as internal wrangles intensify within the party through which Kenya won its independence. The wrangles have intensified after party chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta indicated that he may run for the presidency through an alliance of political parties incorporating KANU, or even through a different party, a position that has not gone down well with other leaders including Secretary General Nick Salat. Chris Thairu reports on the threats facing the country's oldest political party.
