Phi Phi Island: The Island is probably most famous for the Leonardo Di Caprio movie “The Beach”, which was set in the stunning Maya Bay located on the uninhabited Phi Phi Leh which is the second largest of the Islands. Generally, Phi Phi is the place to be for more isolation and quieter vibes, while Phuket is the undeniable party scene of the two. Phuket is home to larger resorts and more amenities, while Phi Phi is great for those looking to disconnect and unwind from the rest of the world.
2. Koh Phi Phi: Also known as Sama Bay, Loh Samah Bay is one of the most popular and astonishingly beautiful destinations of Koh Phi Phi Leh. Lying on the eastern side of the southern tip of the island, Loh Samah Bay features a small islet in the middle and a small beach in its northern part.

Maya Beach: Once a hidden gem known only to locals and small numbers of travelers, Maya Bay is now world-famous as the breathtaking setting in the Hollywood blockbuster, “The Beach.” After a three-year closure from June 2018 to January 2022 to restore the coral and other marine life, Maya Bay is open once again. Located in Thailand's Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, Maya Bay is part of the uninhabited Phi Phi Leh, one of the two main Phi Phi islands, in Krabi province. The Beach movie Shot in 2000 and directed by Danny Boyle, The Beach is based on the eponymous Alex Garland novel. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, this movie made a small cove on the western side of Koh Phi Phi Leh's world-famous: Maya Bay.
4. Peleh Cave Lagoon: Pileh Lagoon is a small inlet on the second biggest of the Phi Phi Island archipelago and actually is separated from Maya Bay (The Beach) by a sheer limestone cliff face. The water inside this beautiful lagoon is one of the most crystal clear azure waters you may have ever seen. Arrive at Phi Phi Le and cruise along the towering karst rock coastline. Hop aboard a longtail boat and cruise into Pileh Lagoon, where stunning emerald waters are encircled by limestone cliffs. Visit the iconic Viking Cave and enjoy a snorkeling session to discover the underwater landscape of colorful corals.
5. Monkey Beach: The beach is set against a backdrop of a steep limestone cliff that's covered with lush vegetation. The forested cliff is the habitat of monkeys, which is where the beach gets its name from. Monkey Beach is located in Yong Kasem Bay; on the west coast of the larger Island of Phi Phi Don. Yong Kasem Bay is a small jungle-fringed bay, snorkeling here is excellent with clear water good coral, and a great variety of colorful fish. The beach is beautiful with soft white sand, one of the best ways to explore this hidden beach is by kayaking from Loh Dalum Bay. If you hire a kayak early in the morning or late in the afternoon, you might get to see wild macaque monkeys that come down to the beach from the cliffs.
