While working in a hostel, Meg Doherty often heard from people struggling to save up for a deposit and move out of the hostel system. Determined to help, she came up with a unique social enterprise in the form of pop-up supper clubs across London.
Trainees on the scheme get their rental deposits paid in exchange for 200 hours of voluntary work. Having slept rough for years, 27-year-old Emmanuel finally has a place he can call home.
