Sail Aus Episode 2: Wessel Islands - Thursday Island, Cape York - Diving ship wrecks & DITL sailing

Описание: Welcome to Episode 2 of our sailing series where we are sailing from Darwin - Cairns!

In this episode we leave the Wessel Islands and head east towards Cape York. We cross the Gulf of Carpentaria over 3 days and 3 nights sailing. We encounter various other boats and awesome wildlife. A highlight was definitely having dolphins ride the nose of the boat one afternoon.

We anchored at Thursday Island & Horn Island over a couple of days stocking up water, fuel and food and also checking out the scenes. Will and Antho dove local ship wrecks to find some pretty special fish such as Fingermark!!

Of course we dabbled in a few pub feeds and beers, due to it being extremely humid and got to know some of the locals who were friendly and willing to give us some insights to surrounding reefs and places to visit!

Finally, Antho was reunited with his partner Sally who we were all stoked to have on board with us! We really enjoyed Thursday Island and we will be back again in the future.
