Video Tour of Reading Hospital: Pulmonary/Critical Care

Описание: The Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship at Reading Hospital Tower Health is a three-year, ACGME-accredited program. The fellowship experience provides a comprehensive clinical and research training that aims to successfully prepare the clinical leaders and physicians of tomorrow.

We accept four fellows to our three-year program each year. The training experience includes inpatient rotations at Reading Hospital and outpatient training through continuity clinic. Fellows will have protected time devoted to research.

In addition to clinical training by our dedicated faculty, the fellows receive weekly didactic sessions and multidisciplinary lectures and participate in Critical Care Ground Rounds, Chest Conference and Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Conference. Supervised training is provided for a wide range of procedures both in the intensive care unit and bronchoscopy suite. Opportunity is provided for training in advanced bronchoscopy such as endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and robotic bronchoscopy. Fellows also learn the skills needed for interpretation of pulmonary function tests, bronchoprovocation tests and exercise studies.

Our goal is to provide a diverse inpatient and outpatient clinical experience and research opportunities that will allow our fellows to develop and refine the skills needed for a successful career in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
