Five days across the wild north of Norway — from the western edge of Sennalandet to Lakselv, through the rugged mountains of Stabbursdalen National Park.
We climbed Cohkarassa (1139 masl) on day 3, navigated thick fog and low visibility with GPS, and crossed countless rivers that slowed our progress but made the journey unforgettable. The terrain was rough, the trails twisted endlessly, and every day ended with the final kilometers in darkness.
After 107 kilometers, we finally reached Lakselv — exhausted, muddy, and hungry — before celebrating the finish with a well-earned burger and an interesting car ride back to Alta.
This was one of the toughest and most rewarding hikes I’ve ever done.
