Get plenty of fiber. Fiber comes from fruit and vegetables; in fact 12 servings per day is what will provide the amount of fiber that men and women need. If you are not getting your 12 servings per day you should use a fiber supplement which can be either soluble or insoluble.
Drink plenty of water, preferably alkaline water. You should be drinking 60 – 90oz of water per day for colon health.
You should take a probiotic that is high in bifidus which is specific to colon health.
