This journey was nothing short of thrilling, presenting an array of challenges and surprises. Here are some valuable insider tips for anyone venturing into the Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary for an unforgettable adventure.

October 15th marked a Sunday, and Prateek bhai, the founder of Riding Sultans Vadodara, organized a bike ride to the Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary—an opportunity I eagerly embraced. Packed with essentials and an uncontainable excitement to uncover Dhanpari Eco Campsite, the adventure began.

Prepared with basic supplies such as snacks, water, and a camera setup, this being my inaugural visit to the campsite, I soon realized the importance of safety equipment, especially within a Wildlife Sanctuary.

The journey commenced at 6:30 am from Ratri Bazar in Vadodara, spanning a distance of about 76 km. The anticipation of experiencing wildlife in its natural habitat heightened my excitement.

Riding in formation with the Riding Sultans, Vadodara, we attracted many curious eyes as we journeyed through Vadodara city. Safety was paramount, complete with safety gears and a disciplined riding formation. The ride was a delightful experience, marking my first with the Riding Sultans.

A short stretch break at a local dhaba provided a brief respite, and we promptly resumed the journey, eager to reach our destination. Leading the pack was Prateek bhai, with me at the tail end—my favored spot owing to my slower pace.

At the entrance of the Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary, a nominal fee of Rs 40 per bike was levied. The road ahead, though challenging, rewarded with breathtaking views of the lakeside—a sight to behold, surrounded by mountains and lush forests.

Navigating the rocky, bumpy, and dusty terrain demanded utmost vigilance, as safety precautions were reiterated by Prateek bhai. We eventually arrived at the lakeside, a truly mesmerizing locale.

A slight ripple in the lake caused a moment of suspense, suggesting possible wildlife. Thankfully, it was a false alarm, allowing us to enjoy the serene ambiance. Our group settled by the lake, sharing laughter, concerns, and creating unforgettable memories.

Amidst the peaceful surroundings, a sudden visit by a wild deer caught us off guard, leaving a lasting impression. Grateful for the pleasant encounter, our group continued to enjoy the day's adventures.

As the day wound down, we reluctantly began our journey back. I chose to bid farewell to my fellow riders and embarked on a solo ride home, cherishing the incredible memories created during this remarkable adventure.

Though the footage may not have lived up to my expectations, the content captured truly reflected the joy experienced throughout the day. I am thrilled to share this amazing adventure with you—riding alongside RSV to Dhanpari Eco Campsite in Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary leaving a lasting impression. Grateful for the pleasant encounter, our group continued to enjoy the day's adventures.
