In this video, I discuss a recent order passed by the Hon’ble Delhi High Court in Nimit Gupta v. CBSE & Anr., concerning a Class 12 student who was unable to obtain scanned copies of his evaluated answer sheets due to technical glitches on the CBSE online portal.

The student approached the Delhi High Court seeking directions to CBSE to provide access to the scanned copies of his answer sheets and permit consequential re-evaluation despite the expiry of the online timeline caused by portal malfunction.

During the hearing, CBSE informed the Hon’ble Court that the student, along with his parents, may visit the CBSE office with a representation to inspect the scanned copies of the evaluated answer sheets and apply for re-evaluation, if required, upon payment of the prescribed fee. The writ petition was accordingly disposed of.
