RED VELVET BRAIDS: 350, BG & 130S Custom Mix (58 inch X-pression) | Full Box Braids Tutorial

*IMPORTANT* For this mix, we are using 350 (ginger brownish red), BG/BU (burgundy) and 130S/RED (true red). My beauty supply store didn’t have RED in the 58 inch length, so I used the Outre X-pression 52 inch in 130S. RED & 130S are interchangeable. Similarly, BG in Sensationnel X-pression & BU in Outre X-pression are basically the same colour.

I used equal parts of each colour –1 bundle of 350, 1 bundle of BG & half a bundle of 130S to create one custom mix bundle (130S was a thicker bundle since it was 52 inches, so I split it in half to match the size of the 58 inch bundles. If you buy the 58 inch RED instead, you won’t have to split it in half). In total, I created 3 bundles of this custom mix hair and it was just enough to finish my whole head.

Total time for hairstyle: 15 hours
Mixing: 2.5 hours
Parting: 1.5 hours
Braiding: 11 hours
