Tutorial Tuesday #48 "Wildflower Meadow" by Kaylee Rakowski

Описание: Hello everyone! Thank you for doing me for this weeks episode of #Tutorialtuesday

I am so happy you all decided to join me today for this wonderful painting I have names ( very simply ) “Wildflower Meadow”My mind was on Colorado again, and I am feeling like we may be close to Crested Butte again, but I did not have an exact location in mind, just that I wanted to alpine meadow wildflowers, and one of my favorite places to see these flowers end up being in some of the Rocky Mountains located in Colorado. What a place to be right now. We even have a moon rising over the horizon and I am just loving all these warm colors.

If you would like to follow along in this painting, please see the pallet list below. I am painting on my standard 18”x24” pre stretched canvas, and I order my canvases from Amazon or Walmart sometimes. I really like the US Art Supply Canvases, as they are very textured and this helps me achieve the maximum breakage for the paints on the mountains, I would encourage you to give them a try, just be sure to spray the back of the canvas with water to tighten it up a smidge before starting. You will thank me!

Also in my experience, the canvas boards are nearly impossible to use because they soak up all the paint and make it really sticky. If you are having this issue, try switching to a well primmed canvas and see how blending goes for you.
