Welcome to 2022, everyone - time for another wild ride! This year, I want to cover more awesome video game music, and more specifically, I want to time some of these covers to a game's release date!
Starting off is a franchise that never fails to produce killer music, Sonic! Sonic Heroes turns 19 today, and it's a game loaded with fantastic tunes - but it's hard to ignore the intensity of Egg Emperor. A great uptempo rocker befitting another Eggman boss fight, it's been stuck in my head all week, and I just had to get it out!
It's not the most technically advanced tune, but it doesn't have to be - if it rocks hard and gets you moving, that's all that matters! I had a blast making this tune, and I'll definitely have to get some more Sonic on the channel in the future.
