A vocalised version of an interview with composer Ron Goodwin which he gave in 1989 in Scotland where he talks about his early life and how he got started scoring for films. He talks about his first film score and the controversy surrounding the Battle of Britain film music. He comments on working with Alfred Hitchcock, the state of music publishing at the time and the difficulties acquiring film score manuscript's for performance. Please note the voices you hear are not that of myself, Ron Goodwin or Christopher Ritchie and are merely used to vocalise the interview transcript. I have added an introduction with added music from his work and some video as well to illustrate the interview. Please leave comments if you so wish.
