"This is a war that should never have happened, and one that benefits no party," said China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi at a press conference on Sunday (Mar 8) on the sidelines of the country's biggest annual political gathering known as the Two Sessions.
Commenting on the US and Israel's war on Iran, he said all parties should "return to the negotiating table as soon as possible, resolve differences through equal dialogue, and strive to achieve common security".
