INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 8-19-25 3:12 AM
LOCATION: EB 210 to 15 Freeway Connector
AREA/CITY: Rancho Cucamonga
DETAILS:
On August 19th, 2025, at about 3:12 AM, CHP, Rancho Cucamonga Fire, and AMR responded to a traffic collision on the Eastbound 210 Freeway to the 15 Freeway Connector.
Rancho Cucamonga arrived at the scene and located a semi truck and trailer that had crashed into a pole in Gore Point.
The front portion of the truck was destroyed in the crash, but somehow the driver escaped with moderate injuries.
CHP closed the transition to the 15 Freeway and issued a SigAlert for 2 hours.
A heavy-duty tow truck was requested for the scene.
This was possibly the same semi-truck that was called in as a reckless vehicle to the CHP prior to the collision.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the CHP Rancho Cucamonga Office.
