Officially the last day of winter, the ironically named Scots Nomad finally takes to the local hills.
This is my first wild camp of 2022.
Trying out a new sleep pad (Thermarest xtherm) and upgraded quilt (Thermarest vesper 20), also using 10mm poles on the Niak.
The idea was not to talk too much about the gear but just enjoy the experience of being back out there camping and working on the hill fitness, this definitely was good for the soul.
I had a storage issue with my phone, as a result I have cut much of the B-Roll of the area….
As a side note, the whisky was very much enjoyed and helped pass the cold night 😂
