This elevator is located in what was formerly known as Virgen del Camino, although today the entire complex is called the Hospital Universitario de Navarra. In the past, the hospital in Pamplona was divided into two main buildings:

The building dates back to 1964, and originally, all the elevators were Giesa models. However, over the years, practically all of them have been modernized. While a few original Giesa units might remain, many have been updated—at least their button panels and lighting—to FI-MXB systems. Additionally, in the maternity ward, Kone elevators have been installed to replace the Giesa ones.
This section of the hospital houses Pavilions M, P, and V. For instance, Pavilion V is dedicated more to general hospitalization (such as Otorhinolaryngology), whereas Pavilions M and P are primarily focused on Pediatrics. Pavilion M is the maternity ward, and Pavilion P handles pediatric hospitalization along with Pediatric Emergencies. It is worth noting that since its construction in 1964, the hospital has undergone constant renovations to improve both patient care and comfort.
This specific elevator was installed in 1996 with the opening of a new hospital entrance. This entrance featured a more innovative and functional design, including this elevator and wide staircases, which made the hospital much more accessible. In fact, the elevator car is incredibly spacious. Interestingly, a new structure housing the ICU was later built directly above this entrance. If that project had expanded further into other zones, this elevator likely would not have survived. However, because the ICU is a highly restricted area with limited access, they were able to preserve this elevator as it stands.

Este ascensor se encuentra en lo que antiguamente se le llamaba Virgen del camino, aunque a día de hoy todos se llama Hospital Universitario de Navarra antiguamente el hospital aquí en Pamplona estaba dividido en dos edificios.

Este edificio data originalmente de 1964 y originalmente todos los ascensores eran Giesa. Pero con el paso de los años se han ido modernizando prácticamente todos.
Giesa original igual queda alguno, pero muchos se han cambiado aunque sea solo a las botoneras y las luminarias por FI-MXB, y luego en la zona de maternidad han puesto Kone para reemplazar a los Giesa.
En esta parte del hospital se encuentran los pabellones M, P, V que por ejemplo el pabellón V es más hospitalización general donde se encuentran cosas como otorrinolaringología etc... Pero los pabellones M y P sobre todo están dedicados a pediatría. El pabellón M es el de maternidad y el P es donde se encuentra la hospitalización de Pediatría junto a las urgencias de Pediatría. También hay que destacar que este hospital desde que se construyó en 1964 no ha parado de sufrir reformas para mejorar tanto la atención como la comodidad de los pacientes.
Este ascensor fue instalado en 1996 con la apertura de una nueva entrada al hospital, una nueva entrada con un diseño más innovador y más funcional con ascensor y unas anchas escaleras, esta entrada es bastante cómoda en el aspecto de que hace que sea más accesible el hospital, de hecho esta cabina es grandísima. También hay que decir que esta entrada incluso después se ha construido por encima que ahí está la UCI, cosa que si el proyecto hubiera llegado a más zonas este ascensor probablemente no seguiría vivo. Pero como lo que construyeron encima es un gran edificio para albergar la UCI pues pudieron conservar este ascensor ya que la UCI es un lugar muy restringido y que cualquiera no puede entrar.
