In the Psalms, David’s sentiments are often how we feel. “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me…” (Psalm 139:11) There is a reality of darkness. We may even feel like the light of Christmas is really darkness to us. Yet Jesus comes into the darkness - into our darkness. The light of Jesus shines into the dark corners of our soul. Psalm 139:12 goes on to say, “… even the darkness is not dark to you, the night is bright as the day.…” Join us on Sunday as we celebrate the light of Jesus coming into the world with “Even the Darkness Is Not Dark!”
