Now, as a veteran big wave surfer and the winner of RedBull’s 2020 Big Wave Ride of the Year, Billy has been making his own waves in the sport.
After suffering a devastating injury that shredded his meniscus, tore his ACL, ripped his MCL, wrecked his right lung, and cracked his pelvis, Kemper has a new lease on life.
As the father of four boys, Billy is committed to not only inspire the next generation of riders but also passing on something more.
