Opening weekend 2025 at SilverStar Bike Park
Last season, my wife @JohannaRoddan and I checked out SilverStar Bike Park for the first time. We lucked out and ran into some friends who were up for opening weekend and gave us a proper tour of the mountain. Riding new trails behind locals you trust is always a treat, and this place did not disappoint. Thanks Matt and @Tylersummers414 for towing me through so many trails!
Huge shoutout to Bike SilverStar for putting us up for the weekend, and to the trail crew for absolutely crushing it. Double Dog had been mostly rebuilt and was an absolute blast to ride blind—fast, playful, and confidence-inspiring from top to bottom.
Can’t wait to get back for more laps.
