Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women
Sooji vada is one of the best to try out this morning for breakfast.
INGREDIENTS:
Semolina 1 cup
Yogurt 1 cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Cooking soda 1 pinch
Oil To fry
Onions 2 nos
Red chillies 5-6 nos
Ginger(chopped) ½ tsp
Water as required
METHOD:
1. Soak semolina in yogurt for 15 min so that it forms thick vada batter.
2. To it add ½ tsp cumin seeds, salt, cooking soda and mix nicely.
3. Heat oil in another pan, add chopped onions, red chillies, ½ tsp cumin seeds, ginger and saute it and cook it.
4. Transfer into mixie jar, add salt and blend into fine paste
5. Take small dumpling make small slightly flat round vada by applying water to hands and deep fry in oil.
6. Once it puffed up and light golden in colour transfer into a paper towel.
7. Now suji vada with onion chutney is ready to serve.
