Is singing with your head voice and singing falsetto the same thing? Not quite!
Both falsetto and head voice can be sung with ease in the upper range of your voice.
But while falsetto is the lightest possible sound a human being can make with very little depth or body, head voice thickens the falsetto quality.
This means you can connect your head voice with your chest voice — but not your falsetto with your chest voice!
