Today I celebrate 20 years of my page and I HAD to drop something to mark the occasion. Like everybody last year I watched “That One Creed Edit” by Areq on repeat, I've seen it over 300 times at this point. The last video I had on repeat was the Kobe tribute video with Dr Dre 6 years ago. Areqs’ video inspired me to make my own version with Lebron James. It may only be a short mix but the level of detail I had to go into, especially with the sound effects was alot. If any of you are interested in dropping a split screen version with the mixx and timeline side by side let me know in the comments.

I basically mirrored a lot from Areq because let's be honest it was a perfect mix. I kept a similar intro lead in using the same text effect and font, all the beat changes, a controversial interview midway through, a similar end credit effect but most importantly the hits/sounds to the beat using NBA sounds rather than boxing, and sprinkled with my own magic here and there. I’m particularly proud of replacing the “CREED” shout with “SCREEN” that was cool to keep a similar sounding word when the music first cuts. TBH You could play these side by side and would basically mirror each other for the first half.

I also wanted my version to extend beyond Areqs’ keeping a similar format but adding that Coose08 flare to it. To mark 20 years of my channel I wanted to reuse as many of the same LeBron highlights/clips with the same camera angles as I have done in my previous videos and more recent shorts, I also wanted to reuse some visual effects/ call backs and sound effects for nostalgic reasons, such as the old wire frame removal instead of a more updated effect like ‘content aware fill’ and the sound effect for my old intro as the riser in the middle, familiar announcer calls and more, see if you can spot them and any other call backs from back in the day.

I may not edit as much as I used to (family and kids) and the YouTube algorithm may not favor my style of video and lack of consistency, but I’m still here, and I’m still HIM!!!
