Beach fishing at Normans bay in Pevensey opposite the camping and caravanning site on a bank holiday monday.
Arrived at 7 in the morning and fished the tide up and then back out into late evening to try and connect with a fish.
Struggled all day to catch anything and the day was saved by a friend of mine that I was fishing with called Andy who caught 3 smooth hounds, a pout whiting and a dogfish saving the blank. We were using whole squid baits on pennel rigs and fishing about 10 metres apart. he started registering bites at the top of the tide and then started catching fish.
