Former President Jacob Zuma and his corruption co-accused, French arms company Thales, will this morning seek to appeal the dismissal of their latest bid to have the case against them quashed - on the basis of “unreasonable delays”.
In a potentially history-shifting application, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is arguing that Zuma and Thales should be blocked from using this appeal to further delay their trial.
This is the highly anticipated “Stop Stalingrad” application.
