The building's sculptural, weathered steel façade is constructed in a geometric grid, appearing as a dynamic, organically flowing network of loose 'warp and weft' threads.

Three-dimensional stripes run horizontally and vertically across the rectangular building, alternating flat and protruding modules to create the illusion of woven threads.

When the building is viewed from the side, the horizontal line of intersection of the stripes appears to be behind the vertical line. And vice versa.

The office building's name, "Ferrum", means iron in Latin, alluding to the materials that make up the façade and the history of the former industrial site on which the new building was built. As to why they chose weathered steel as the exterior wall material, the architects said, ``This corrosion-resistant and extremely durable building material, with its characteristic rusty red patina and velvety texture, enhances the appearance of buildings. gives it a particularly striking and expressive look."
