Champua MLA Sanatan Mahakud has made a strong statement amid political tensions in Odisha. Mahakud said he has done nothing wrong but was still suspended from the Biju Janata Dal (BJD). He also asserted that Naveen Patnaik will not ask him to vote and that he will no longer go behind the party.

Speaking about the situation, Mahakud said, “I have no fault. Yet I was suspended from the party. I will not go behind BJD anymore. Naveen will not ask me to vote.”
