The CHESTERFIELD KINGS rocked the Phantasy in Lakewood Ohio on May 13th 1988. The onboard mic on the SONY TR3 camcorder I videoed this on could not handle the volume. Having shot such great footage with poor audio drove me into a different recording model (on shows I had permission to shoot I would bring a small SONY EVS1 8mm deck with PCM sound that I would feed my camcorder signal into along with audio from PZM microphones) #chesterfieldkings #garagerock #phantasy #lakewood
