Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, alongside EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, addressed a joint press conference in Islamabad.

During the briefing, Ishaq Dar stated that the European Union appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to help ease tensions in the US-Iran dispute. Kaja Kallas described Pakistan as an important regional power and acknowledged its significant role in promoting regional stability.

Kallas also emphasized that Pakistan has the right to defend itself against terrorism emanating from Afghanistan, while both sides discussed regional security, diplomatic cooperation, and shared efforts for peace and stability.
