Quick timelapse showing how I cut this resin goldfish figurine out of a single block of silicone.
I used Smooth On Mold Star 20T for this mold. It sets up quickly (30 minutes) and the translucence allows me to see where I need to cut for this complicated resin figurine. Sprues were added before pouring the silicone. This is the third time ive made a mold for this resin goldfish sculpt and each time ive improved on the mold and process.
The resin goldfish sculpt is my original sculpt and design.
The casts are sold in limited runs via my online store www.ebbnflow.design
Once this mold dies, that will be the end of this resin edition. It will be retired.
