Описание:
I don’t need the bristles, I don’t need the ink,
I leave marks with my hands when I stop to think.
When it hits, I don’t argue, I don’t outrun,
I stand in the mess of what I’ve done.
I used to disappear when it pulled me under,
Held still while the damage spread like thunder.
But in the pause between exit and shame,
I heard my voice say my name.
Not to escape the past, but to give it a name,
To honour the fire without feeding the flame.
I’m not sinking anymore,
I’m just walking to the shore.
With every broken wave that’s crashing at my feet,
I’m learning how to breathe where the dark and daylight meet.
The tide still whispers what I used to be,
But the waves can’t take what's left of me.
Each step’s a truth the storm once hid,
I'm learning to live with what I did.
I was a stranger to my own reflection,
I trusted the noise more than my fear.
But every scar that tried to drag me down,
Is just a mark that says I turned around.
