The Sublime STC diode summing mixer!
All analog and all passive - no nasty power supplies to mess / noise up your audio.
These diodes definitely sound more vintagey than our other sets so would suit singer songrwriter / pop / classical / folk, funk and soul mixes……and classic Rock (natch!).
There’s 5 stereo pairs of diodes feeding into a stereo pair of transformers we had made at the output for extra added analog oomph!
Put your heaviest mix element (usually drums) into channel 1 then add instrument buses as you see fit - push into the diodes for beautiful saturation, analog 3d and stereo width.
Even at low saturation settings you can hear the soundstage improve - there’s a general sweetening of the audio and much better separation of the mix elements - it all gets progressively more 3d, more beautiful and more natural sounding - which is what we want!
Though! ….. you can hear the music breaking up towards the end of each part and getting more focused with more energy - so this mixer can be used as an enhancer to spice up your mix!
Put some real deal analog in that mix chain - and make your music Resound with more Gorgeousness!!
