Afterglow is a raw and vulnerable reflection on anxiety, alienation, and renewal. It’s about feeling like a stranger in your own body — and the breakthrough that comes from naming it, facing it, and cutting away the things that keep you down.

I wrote Afterglow about one of the hardest chapters of my life — when anxiety had taken over and I barely recognised myself. I felt like I was trapped inside a body I couldn’t control, watching from the outside. Writing this song was my way of acknowledging it, of saying: “this is real, but it’s not the end.”

It’s also about recognising what drags us down — people, habits, environments — and finding the strength to let go. I wanted to be as open and vulnerable as possible, because I know how isolating it feels. If someone else hears this and realises they’re not alone, then it means everything.

Afterglow is available from all digital platforms from 21st November 2025 as the lead single from my new album PSYCHEDELIKA Pt.1 which follows a week later on 28th November.
