The Pedrito Martinez Group played the 55th Monterey Jazz Festival on 9.20.12 and wowed the wizened Monterey Jazz crowd. Members include percussionist, Jhair Sala, from Lima, Peru; electric bassist, Alvaro Benavides, from Caracas, Venezuela; and keyboard player/vocalist, Araicne Trujillo, from Havana, Cuba.Pedrito's solo was also the finale and we get to hear the crowd reaction to this talented and ground breaking group. Pedrito Martinez and Jhair Salas are Latin Percussion endorsers.
