Final-year BA Fine Art: Painting students at Camberwell College of Arts staged an open studio to show their work as part the UAL Graduate Showcase 2021.
The pandemic disrupted the experience of this year’s BA Fine Art: Painting graduates. Students had to adapt their practices to domestic environments twice, over 2020 and 2021.
When students regained access to studios and workshops on 22 March, it soon became apparent that the experience inspired more expanded interpretations of the subject, going beyond paint on canvas.
This film captures students discussing their work displayed in the Open Studios, open to the public from 17-26 June 2021.
