Welcome to the MONOCHROME Channel and today, we're looking at historic German brand Stowa's latest release, a faithful yet modernized recreation of the original 1940s B-Uhr. Stowa is one of the few and oldest German watch manufacturers that has been building the pilot watch in the almost unchanged original design since 1940. And as such, it is fully legitimate to recreate these classic Flieger models.

The new Stowa Flieger Original for 2025 packs a punch. Visually faithful yet relatively compact in proportions, it now features a manufacture-modified version of the Unitas 6498-1 with a central seconds display and refined finishing on the back.
