Gaisberg Hike | A Mountain you reach from Salzburg on Foot

Описание: To reach Gaisberg from the city center of Salzburg you walk to Gnigl. You will get to Gnigl in about 30 minutes from the city center. In Gnigl you head to the church and search for the house in Eichstrasse 66. That's where the trail starts. Once you found the trail there are way marks all the way up the mountain.

Gaisberg mountain is the mountain to hike from Salzburg. You can reach the top all the way from the city center of Salzburg on foot in about 3 hours. Here we hiked Gaisberg in November and on top there was snow. If you hike in summer or late spring or if it is warm enough in autumn or winter you can hike Gaisberg with any kind of shoes. If there is snow or if the leaves are wet, you need hiking boots.

The way up Gaisberg from Eichstrasse 66 in Gnigl is my favorite. An alternative would be to hike from Parsch but to get to Parsch you have to take a bus and the way is not as nice.
