The house is built on a 1500 sqft plot with a ₹12–15 lakh budget, using load bearing earth-based walls (18 inches thick) that provide excellent thermal mass. These walls absorb heat during winter days and keep interiors naturally cool during summers.

A Kilu roof system is used to reflect harsh sun rays, reducing indoor heat gain and minimizing the need for artificial cooling. Large openings ensure maximum daylight and cross ventilation, making the home energy-efficient and comfortable throughout the year.

This project reflects how traditional Rajasthani wisdom, sustainable materials, and climate-responsive design can create affordable and eco-friendly homes in India.
