Dark Chest of Wonders is the explosive opening track from Nightwish's fifth studio album, Once (2004). It's one of the band's most beloved symphonic metal anthems, known for its orchestral bombast, folk elements, fast-paced riffs, and themes of lost childhood innocence and rediscovering wonder. The song was written by Tuomas Holopainen and has remained a staple in Nightwish's live setlists across all eras.
