I'm stoked for the stepping stone, to be overthrown, but I am where I am. Awake and confused swimming alone in an empty swimming pool. Why can't we just stay asleep and stay dreaming.
We stopped checking under the bed, on the shelves and deep down in ourselves no win. Grasping & clenching the anger like a child on the end of a string. Hot coals in our hands. Frozen like every other mannequin. Sometimes I pray for the waves to come drag me away. Perplexed in days of stupid arguments. I don't tell my friends or acquaintances. I love the parts they hate. I procrastinate because dead weight waits. Living shameless, nameless those little flamers. Theres no smoke without fire so how can they blame us. Little they know we save their skin
To lose, I've never been this far behind you.
I was dealt the bitter blow, bedewed and bedimmed for everyone to notice. The hurt is such no one should bear, whats to life, why should I care anyways.
