Middle-aged patient who presents with discomfort in both grooves of the hallux toenail.
Nails are trimmed, calluses are removed, and grooves are cleaned to alleviate discomfort in the feet.
The use of suitable basketball shoes (a sport that he practices sporadically and recreationally) is recommended in order to compensate for the grip forces of the foot within the shoe and reduce the possibility of future problems.
In this case, another slight trimming of the nails and general cleaning was carried out, some 2 weeks after the 1st visit, and after having carried out several sports activities.
