Learn how to play in the style of Jump Blues and Rock N Roll legends like Scotty Moore, T-Bone Walker, Brian Setzer and Bill Haley and His Comets. The track is fast and energetic and captures the excitement of early blues based Rock and Roll performed by the likes of Little Richard and Elvis Presley.

The track is a fast, riff-based blues shuffle and explores the use of riffs in rhythm and bass guitar parts and in the lead guitar. Much of the lead guitar is based on common arpeggio shapes and follows the changes of the blues chord progression, making use of chord tones and giving a more advanced approach to blues soloing beyond the use of the minor pentatonic and blues scales.

The lead guitar makes use of legato technique and pull-offs to help develop speed and fluidity in the fretting hand. There is also use of extended dominant 7th chords in the rhythm guitar.

This lesson includes the sheet music for the lead guitar, the riff-based rhythm guitar, rhythm guitar chords and the bass guitar. Along with a full recording of the track, there is also a range of backing tracks that can be used for performance and practice and slower versions of the backing track to enable practice of the various parts at slower tempos to gradually build up to full speed.
