There are 11 custom missions shown, with new enemy and player tank behavior. This was done by editing the .bin files for both level maps and map/tank parameters. I have not tested this on an actual console, only in Dolphin, though I can't see why this wouldn't work on a Wii.
I sort of abandoned this project last year, so I uploaded my progress for the sake of posterity. I was planning on making at least 20 missions. By only editing maps and parameters, up to 100 are possible with 10 unique tank varieties and 30 unique maps. A simple level/tank editor would be a plausible task (I know some people are currently working on one), and if anyone else wants to give it a shot, or if anyone is curious about how mission data is stored, here is a documentation I wrote about the file formats used:

Note - Mission 7 needs to be redesigned, since it has the ability to softlock the player if they kill only the yellow tanks and then die.
