Building a Sustainable Future: Corporate Governance in Saudi Arabia

Описание: Saudi Arabia is the Middle East's biggest economy, and the country has lofty ambitions to attract enough international companies to set up regional headquarters in its capital Riyadh to establish the city as the pre-eminent business hub in the region.

These plans are part of the Saudi Vision 2030 - a strategic framework launched by Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman to reduce Saudi Arabia's dependence on hydrocarbons, diversify its economy, and develop public service sectors, such as health, education, infrastructure, recreation.

In line with the objectives of Vision 2030, diverse developments have been considered concerning corporate governance and sustainability as an effort to open Saudi Arabia's economy to the world. Identifying the significance of attracting foreign investment is considered an approach to accomplish one of the vision's targets.
