My name is Steve and I run an Isshin Ryu Karate School in Western New York called Shiage Do Martial Arts. While enduring the government and business shut downs caused by Covid-19, Shiage Do Martial Arts has created videos for its members so that they could continue their training while stuck at home. However we realize that it is not just our students that are stuck at home, so we have decided to make our training videos publicly viewable so that others can benefit from them.

Below is the list of Warm ups which should be completed by anyone looking to get the full class experience out of these videos.
Kids Warm Up:
Walk through each of your kata 2x for form, once complete do the following
10 jump squats
10 V ups
10 burpees
10 jump lunges
20 jumping jacks
And a handstand against a wall for 20 seconds
Adult Warm Up:
Walk through each of your kata 3x for form and once full power, once complete do the following
50 Jump Squats
50 v ups
50 burpees
50 Jump Lunges
100 jumping jacks
And a handstand against a wall for 40 seconds
Stretching (for everyone): hold each stretch for a count of 20
Feet together toes up stretch down
feet shoulders width apart, palms to the floor
feet shoulders width apart, stretch left (hidari)
feet shoulders width apart, stretch right (migi)
feet shoulders width apart, palms to the floor (chudan)
Slide down to your center split
Right split
Left split
Back to center split
Sit back butterfly stretch
Stand up, arm circles forward
arm circles back
twist side to side
