Hello everyone and welcome back to the garage for an exciting restoration! Picked from an estate sale, I'm restoring a 140 year old Stanley No. 51 spokeshave from the late 1800's! I've been wanting a spokeshave and to learn how to use one for quite awhile and was pumped to find this rusty little guy on an old workbench with all original parts! It's an awesome feeling to be able to rescue, restore and be the new owner/caretaker of a such an awesome piece of American tool history.
