This one started complicated ... forecast was rain , an open fire ban was in effect and hunting season is on ... it made for somewhat limited camping possibilities . Well , i had to adjust my plans substantially and everything turned out good . I planned wild tarp camping on foot , with rain forecasted i didn"t feel like being wet all evening long ,so i decided to tarp camp out of the Jeep and bring along a woodstove or two to cook and sit by the fire ( legal with the stoves ) . The evening ended up mostly clear ,no rain and my set up was simple ,cozy and comfortable . So ieven if everything seems against your plans , don't cancel , adjust ! A few tweek can save the day , you can end up better than with the original plan !
