The story:
Earth is attacked by an unknown alien race. Being far inferior, humankind have no chance in defending earth. From "out of nowhere" a scientist emerges with plans for a mothership, driven by AI, where part of humankind can escape. The AI will be responsible for finding a new haven for mankind, while people stay in cybersleep. During the travels, the AI learns from complete history archives and also from human dreams. Will the AI complete its task, or evolve into something different?
