Notes:
The tomb is included because it is de jure considered Turkish sovereign soil. However once it was moved, this has been disputed by Syria.
Some rebellions aren't shown because they began and ended before the end of the year.
The borders of the early provinces are estimated in spots due to limited reliable information.
Apparently despite Turkish troops still being stationed in Syria, they officially no longer "occupy" the territory as of 2026.
