In today’s vlog, we went to our bird room as all pets were closed inside. One more turkey had become sick, so we isolated it separately in the brooder. We opened the hen and the big chicks, but our boiler hen has become overweight and is unable to walk properly.

We opened all pets inside the room — ducks, quails, and others. After many days, the quails finally laid an egg, which we found in their box. Since our incubator hasn’t arrived yet, we kept the egg aside safely.

Budgies got their seed refilled, and our newborn budgies came out of their nest for the very first time. They look super adorable with their fully grown feathers.

While feeding the budgies, the male from the big cage escaped through the door. It took a long time to get him back inside — sometimes he ran behind the guinea fowl, sometimes sat near the other budgie cage where the pair kept attacking him. In the end, he quietly sat near his own cage and slowly walked back inside through the door himself.

But today also brought a heartbreaking moment… Our sick turkey, whom we kept on the rooftop for sunlight therapy, was attacked by a dog who came through the roof gate. CCTV footage showed the dog taking the turkey from the box, jumping onto the neighbour’s roof, and killing it. We added a small clip of this painful moment at the end of the video.

By evening, we fed all pets their night food and closed everyone safely in their places.
